The Tasmanian Government is developing the Tasmanian Community Sport and Active Recreation Infrastructure Strategy – Draft (Draft Infrastructure Strategy) (PDF 5.9 MB).

There are five key principles outlined in the Draft Infrastructure Strategy which will inform future actions and investment decisions of the Tasmanian Government relative to community sport and active recreation infrastructure in Tasmania.

Consultation Report - What you have said

Between 9 March 2022 and 17 May 2022, Tasmanian individuals, community groups, advocates and other key stakeholders such as Government agencies and local government were invited to give feedback through a written submission in response to the Tasmanian Community Sport and Active Recreation Infrastructure Strategy - DRAFT.

The Consultation Report - Tasmanian Community Sport and Active Recreation Infrastructure Strategy - DRAFT details what you have said to us through this consultation process.

In total fourteen (14) submissions were received from a range of private individuals, community organisations, local governments and other Tasmanian Government agencies.

The Department of Communities Tasmania also considered the submissions about infrastructure that were provided through a separate consultation process for the Discussion Paper for a Tasmanian Sport and Active Recreation Strategy that was completed in December 2021.
